Aucoto Community / For churches

Life together.
Beyond
Sunday.

Help people feel part of church life throughout the week.

Bring your congregation, newcomers and volunteers together in one online home that feels like your church.

Explore the church experience

Your church. Your people. More connected.

A place at the tableNew here? You’re very welcome.

Good conversation. A shared meal. A first hello.

01A warmer welcome.

02Better-supported volunteers.

03Connection throughout the week.

01 / The space between gatherings

A lot happens
at church.
Not everyone
hears about it.

An invitation at the end of a service. A change buried in a group chat. A study guide someone cannot find.

Meanwhile, the church office is forwarding messages, group leaders are repeating details and a few familiar people are holding everything together.

The problem is not a lack of care. Sometimes, it is simply too hard for people to find their way in.

Aucoto Community brings the everyday life of your church into a clearer shared space. Somewhere to find what is happening, continue a conversation and take the next step.

02 / One church. Different ways to belong.

From a first hello
to life together.

People arrive with different questions. Help them find what they need, without expecting them to know how everything works already.

Connection throughout the week

Stay connected to
the life you share.

Find this week’s news, revisit a talk, join a discussion or see what is happening in your small group.

Keep church life within reach when work, caring responsibilities or a missed Sunday mean you are not in the room.

The conversation doesn’t end on Sunday.

The reflection guide from this week’s teaching is ready. Bring your questions to Thursday’s group—we’d love to hear what stayed with you.

03 / The features, in church life

The conversations.
The learning.
The next gathering.

Not another place to keep checking. A clearer home for the things your people already want to be part of.

Keep the conversation
close to the community.

Coordinate the welcome team, plan a community lunch or continue a small-group discussion. Bring ordinary one-to-one questions and focused group conversations alongside the resources and events they relate to.

Riverbank Church group chat: Sarah asks for volunteers for a newcomers’ lunch, David offers to welcome guests and Aisha offers to set out packs. A separate direct conversation helps a newcomer feel welcome.
Direct messages + group conversationsA question answered. A team connected.
01 / Purposeful spaces

A place for each group.

Give ministries and small groups their own conversation, without adding every practical detail to the whole-church feed.

02 / A personal welcome

A person to ask.

Help an adult newcomer find the right guide or ask what to expect before their next visit.

03 / Thoughtful connection

Healthy boundaries.

Make it clear who responds, when they are available and which route to use for urgent or sensitive concerns.

05 / Support the people who make it happen

Your volunteers
give their time.
Help them use it well.

Willingness should not get lost between “I’d like to help” and “What do I do next?”

For leaders, less repeating, forwarding and chasing. For volunteers, a clearer way to contribute without having to know the right person already.

“I’d like to help.”A clear next step.“I know where I fit.”

A clearer invitation.

Explain what a role involves, when help is needed and whom to contact about getting involved.

A better beginning.

Keep welcome information and role guidance together, alongside your church’s existing recruitment and training processes.

Knowledge that stays useful.

Share the checklist, practical advice and answers that help the next person—not only the people who were there last time.

06 / A welcome that continues

Help a first visit
become a
familiar face.

A warm greeting matters.
So does what happens afterwards.

Give people a clear invitation to stay in touch, find a group or join a gathering. Help them discover the people and activities that make your church feel like a community, not simply somewhere they attended once.

Let people ask questions, take their time and choose how they participate.

Technology can make the next step clearer.
The relationship is still yours to build.

07 / Care in how you connect

Built around people.
Guided by your church.

Good community life needs thoughtful leadership online as well as in person.

Clear spaces. Clear expectations.

Agree who each space is for, what people can share and how conversations will be looked after. Set expectations for replies and make support and safeguarding contacts easy to find.

The right route for the right conversation.

Use the community for everyday connection. Keep confidential pastoral records and safeguarding concerns on your church’s established, appropriately assessed routes.

A personal way in, too.

A phone call, a printed update and a conversation after a service still matter. Keep church life open to people who are not online.

08 / Start with something useful

You don’t need to
move everything
at once.

Your church does not need every feature switched on. It needs an experience your people understand.

  1. 01

    Choose what needs
    to feel easier.

A clearer welcome. A better home for study resources. A more connected volunteer team. Start with one real need.

  2. 02

    Give it
    a clear place.

Use your church’s name, logo and colours. Organise a few useful spaces and decide who will look after them.

  3. 03

    Welcome people.
    Listen. Improve.

Begin with a manageable group. Help them get started, learn what is useful and build from there.

A few practical questions

Let’s make
it clearer.

We already have a website and church-management software. Why add this?

Your public website helps people discover your church. Your management tools may handle records, rotas, giving and administration. Aucoto Community focuses on the shared experience between those tasks: conversations, learning, events and belonging. If your existing tools already do this well, start by identifying a real gap before adding another platform.

Do people need to join the community before they can visit our church?

No. Keep service times, visiting information and a way to contact you publicly available. Your community should be an invitation to connect further, not a barrier at the front door.

Can this support a small church or several congregations?

The starting point is the same: clear shared information and a few purposeful spaces. A church with different groups or locations can organise conversations around them. We would review your access needs and structure before recommending a setup.

What about people who are not confident online?

Start simply, offer a personal introduction and keep appropriate offline ways to participate. Aucoto can be accessed through the web and mobile devices, but joining church life should not depend on someone using an app.

Can we use it for prayer requests or pastoral care?

Church-led prayer resources and reflections can sit alongside your teaching. Personal prayer requests may contain sensitive information about the person sharing or somebody else, so agree appropriate sharing rules and permissions first. Do not treat a private community space as a confidential pastoral-record system or a route for urgent help.

Can children and young people use it?

This page focuses on adult congregants, volunteers, leaders and parents or carers. Any direct use by under-18s would need a separate assessment of age eligibility, permissions, supervision and safeguarding suitability before launch.

Can we keep our current giving, rota and safeguarding systems?

Yes. Aucoto does not need to replace the specialist processes that already serve your church. Keep donations, Gift Aid, official records, safer recruitment and safeguarding in the appropriate systems. Any integration would need to be checked separately.

Can we make it feel like our church?

Yes. Use your church’s name, logo, colours and domain, and organise the spaces around your own community. A fully branded mobile app is an optional upgrade, with pricing and eligibility explained separately.
